Freediving Training

Freedive Cape Town aims to promote the development of freediving in South Africa. Some of our students and staff train on a regular basis with other freedivers in and around Cape Town. We will try to keep you informed on general training sessions, but if you are interested in formal training days please take a look at our courses page.

Pool Training Sessions
Details: At the moment there is a small group of freedivers training on thursday nights in an open-air 25m pool. All are welcome to join as long as you have done some sort of freediving course. Some of the more experienced freedivers will be able to give you tips and advice, but they are there to train not teach. Please use our contact form to find out more about these sessions.

Requirements: AIDA ** OR other equivalent course

Quarry Sessions
Details: We try to arrange deep diving sessions as often as possible. Details of these sessions are supplied to students and ex-students well in advance.
